A week ago one of our dearest crafters found himself under attack by a savage Dwarf by the name of HairyShort. This Dwarf slaughtered several hundred defenseless miners just a few kilometers outside of Dekapolis. To add insult to injury, covert agents were dispatched to Dekapolis with a clear disregard for our crafter’s sovereignty and our own as a whole. The Pirate King in his mercy requested reparations and a forced exodus from our lands, and in response this Dwarven bastard spat in his face.

Covert Agent Trail
While Dwarven Lords has communicated a desire for reparations to be paid in full, they have backed away from supporting HairyShort after he sent his covert agents to Dekapolis. They have stated in private diplomatic channels that while they would prefer HairyShort to agree to a peaceful transition, they will not defend him in regards to the casus belli levied to Fleet.
After these continued attempts of peace, HairyShort has refused to pay the demanded x3 costs of replacing the miners and making up for lost mining time.
Reparation Refusal
This is a clear test of our resolve to safeguard our lands. Should any of you fail to meet insult with metal then all of us will soon awake to siege engines rolling through the plains to our ships and outposts. Your oath of service to the Pirate King compels you to answer this call.
HairyShort’s cities in our lands will be removed effective immediately.
